The Flagstaff Photography Club was formed in September, 1991, to promote interest in photography and assist members in developing photographic skills. Our membership includes all levels of expertise—from beginner to professional, who use film, slide and digital formats. The Club sponsors various events that serve the interests of its members, including critiques, speakers, outings, Photo of the Month competitions, the annual theme-based competition and the Photo of the Year. Our monthly newsletter, the High Altitude Focus, is published electronically.
The Photo of the Month pictures are on display at the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library downtown at 300 W. Aspen Ave. and at the East Flagstaff branch at 3000 N. 4th Street.
Meetings are held on the 3rd and 5th Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to attend. Meetings are held at the Thorpe Park Recreation Center/Adult Center at 245 N. Thorpe Rd.
